The first of two Spider-Man & Venom video games was released in 1994. Maximum Carnage is loosely based on the Spider-Man comic event of the same name. Separation Anxiety, despite the name, is not based on the Separation Anxiety comic event but is more closely related to the Lethal Protector comic mini-series.
